Elon Musk has now spoken out about the rumors linking him to author Ashley St. Clair as the father of his alleged thirteenth child.
St. Clair, a public figure known for writing a “conservative” children’s book in 2023, made waves with a post on X on Saturday, February 15. In it, she claimed to have given birth to Musk’s child five months earlier.
The 26-year-old wrote: “Five months ago, I welcomed a new baby into the world. Elon Musk is the father.”
“I have not previously disclosed this to protect our child’s privacy and safety, but in recent days it has become clear that tabloid media intends to do so, regardless of the harm it will cause.”
St. Clair also expressed that she wanted her newborn to “grow in a normal and safe environment” and called on the media to “honour our child’s privacy and refrain from invasive reporting.”
She captioned the photo with another Latin phrase, “Alea Iacta Est,” which translates to “the die is cast”—a saying often used to signify that a situation has passed the point of no return.
Meanwhile, in a separate statement shared on Musk’s social media account, her agent, Brian Glicklich, reinforced her stance.
“Ashley & Elon have been privately working towards the creation of an agreement about raising their child for some time,” he stated.
“It is disappointing that a tabloid reporter, who repeatedly ambushed Ashley and her family, made it impossible to complete that process confidentially.”
“We are waiting for Elon to publicly acknowledge his parental role with Ashley, to end unwarranted speculation, and Ashley trusts that Elon intends to finish their agreement quickly, in the best interests of the wellbeing and security of the child they share.”
@dailymail 53-year-old Elon Musk could ‘keep fathering children for another 30 years in bid to repopulate the Earth’ – as MAGA influencer claims she has had his thirteenth kid. The announcement, which came on Friday, claimed that he’s secretly fathered his 13th child with a fourth woman. Author and influencer Ashley St Clair, 26, took to X to announce: ‘Five months ago I welcomed a new baby into the world. Elon Musk is the father.’ Shortly after the announcement Musk replied to a fan asking if making another baby was one of his ‘side quests’ by posting a crying laughing emoji. If St. Clair’s allegations hold up, Musk might just give the Cheaper by the Dozen cast a run for their money.
When the SpaceX mogul finally addressed the situation, he didn’t exactly stake a claim to the five-month-old at the heart of it all.
Musk’s only response to St. Clair’s claims was a simple: “Whoa.”
He was actually replying to a separate tweet from far-right activist Milo Yiannopoulos, who accused St. Clair of having “plotted for half a decade to ensnare” him.
As reported by the Daily Mail, St. Clair later reacted to Musk’s brief reply in another post—one that has since been deleted—saying she had been “trying to communicate” with him for days but had received no response.

Back in 2002, Musk and his then-wife, Vivian Wilson, welcomed their first child, a son named Nevada. Tragically, he passed away at just ten weeks old.
Following this heartbreaking loss, the couple went on to have five more children—triplets Kai, Saxon, and Damian, now 19, and twins Vivian and Griffin, now 20.
Musk also shares three children with musician Grimes: a daughter, Exa Dark Sideræl, and two sons, Tau Techno Mechanicus and X Æ A-Xii (pronounced “X Ash A Twelve”). Both boys were born via surrogacy.
Additionally, in June 2021, Musk quietly welcomed twins, Strider and Azure, with Neuralink executive Shivon Zilis—just before Exa was born. Most recently, in 2024, he reportedly fathered another child with Zilis, though the baby’s name has not been made public.
