Tips and Tricks

Cleaning the washing machine is very necessary, but not everyone knows about this hidden switch

In modern life, we’re often busy with work, leaving us with little time to wash clothes. Thankfully, the washing machine has made this task much quicker, saving both time and effort.

However, no matter how high-end your washing machine is, over time it will accumulate bacteria and dirt. If you don’t clean it regularly, your clothes may not come out as clean, and they might even have an unpleasant smell. Ideally, you should clean your washing machine about three times a week.

One important thing to note is that not everyone knows how to clean their washing machine properly. In fact, there is a hidden switch on most washing machines that can help you drain out dirty water.

This hidden switch is typically located at the lower right or left corner of the washing machine. You will see a small cover over it. Using a coin, gently pry open this cover, and you will notice dirty water flowing out. This process helps to eliminate accumulated dirt and bacteria inside the machine.

Clean the Filter Box

In addition to draining the dirty water, it’s also important to clean the rectangular filter box inside the washing drum. Over time, lint and debris can build up in the filter, and if it’s not cleaned regularly, it can cause clothes to get dirty after washing. To prevent this, it’s best to remove and clean the filter box every week.

By following these simple steps, your washing machine will stay clean and continue to work efficiently, ensuring your clothes come out fresh every time!
